There's no mention of processor power, RAM, disc reading/burning ability, graphics capabilities, etc. Granted, for most people much of that is not needed, but if it is really meant to help students at the very least CD/DVD reading, processing power, and RAM are essential. Many educational programs require these things; for example, one cannot install most programs without a CD, and advanced CAD and mathematics programs will absolutely need processing power and RAM for some operations. This is still a step up, but I don't think it will be quite as big a deal as people may currently think.
